FOR SALE : VERY OLD GAS RANGE

Possibly one of the world's oldest domestic gas cookers, the JANUS, is for sale. Made of cast iron, as a type of closed range with internal flues and dampers, possibly during the period of earliest development of gas stoves prior to 1851. Approx 28ins wide, 48ins high and 21ins deep. No registered design number visible.
