FOR SALE : FULLY RESTORED CAST IRON HIGH LEVEL BIRMINGHAM TOILET CISTERN

Introducing a Victorian Sanito 'Edson' high level cast iron cistern manufactured by J.T. Edwards & Sons Ltd. Birmingham.

The flush lever is stamped '1125c. Circa 1900s.

Professionally refurbished to a very high standard and in excellent working order. It flushes smoothly and effortlessly.

The many layers of paint have been removed and the outer cast iron given a clear lacquered finish and the inner sealed and fully waterproofed. Please note that any lines and ripples are a characteristic of the original casting and not the restorers' finish.

This cistern is fully reversible with the emblem on both sides.

Beautifully crafted in solid cast iron, all the parts are original and it flushes quietly and effortlessly.

Measures 51cm (20") wide, 24cm (9.5") deep and 33cm (13") high (incl lid up to handle bolt).

It will require a 1 1/2" flush pipe (pipe that joins to the toilet)

Condition: Excellent. Fully restored and 100% working order.
