 FOR SALE : 5 PAIRS OF STUNNING MERCURY MIRRORED DOOR KNOBS Five pairs of simple but elegant antique mercury glass door handles, these are incredibly rare and so hard to come by and especially in such a large matching set. (I have a 6th extremely close matching pair if you require)
They are beautifully hand blown with hollow centers and mercury mirror lining. All the mercury is intact and is so clear that you can see yourself in them. They are substantial and incredibly tactile.
These are best suited to mortise locks.
The chrome plated brass shanks have been left unpolished, but will shine up beautifully, if that's the look you prefer. One shank has lost it's plating and is now all brass.
They come complete with the original pins and connecting bars.
Each has a diameter of 6cm (2.5") and they will project 5.5cm (2.25") from the door.
Condition: Excellent, the mercury lining is all intact and the glass shows just the slightest sign of age in the form of light surface scratches, but nothing that will be noticeable once the handles are fitted.
These handles are truly stunning and and as rare as rocking horse dung!
They will add a touch of style and class to your period home in an instant.

 FOR SALE : 2 PAIRS OF LARGE ANTIQUE CUT GLASS GLOBE HANDLES Two pairs of incredibly ornate antique cut glass door handles, these are incredibly rare and so hard to come by.
These match the larger set that I am selling and are ideal for your bathroom, or ensuite as they have nickel shanks.
They have mercury mirrored centers and an intricate cut glass pattern, which gives them an incredible sparkle.
These are best suited to mortise locks, but will fit on rim locks depending on personal aesthetic preference.
The nickel shanks have been left unpolished, but will shine up beautifully, if that's the look you prefer.
They come complete with the original grub screws and connecting bar.
Each measures 5.5cm (2.25") across and they will project 7.5cm (3") from the door.
Condition: Excellent, there is some very light signs of wear, but this gets completely lost within the intricate cut pattern and will not be noticeable once they are in situ. There are no chips, or damage.
