FOR SALE : VICTORIAN MERCURY ETCHED GLASS CURTAIN TIE BACK

A unique opportunity to purchase an absolutely stunning and unique matching pair of high quality antique blown glass curtain tie backs. Mushroom shaped with mercury mirror lining and etched faces.

They are hand made from blown glass with a mercury mirror lining, giving them a wonderful reflective mirrored finish - you can actually see yourself very clearly in them!

The faces are hand etched with a grape vine and grape design.

Each measures 7.5cm (3") across and will project 8.5cm (3.25") from the wall.

The fixing ends are made of a dull silver metal, complete with 2.5cm fixing screws.

Condition: Excellent, without damage, mercury loss or pitting. There are some tiny black soot marks on one, but this would have happened during manufacture and won't be visible once mounted due to the very high reflective properties of the mercury mirror lining.
