More information …

What is a Salvo Zone?
Salvo Zones are areas of fairs or shows, such as the Listed Property Show or IACF Antiques Fair, where dealers in architectural salvage, antique garden ornament, reclaimed building materials, decorative and industrial salvage may attend, as well as craftspeople who recraft old materials into new upcycled objects. Since 1993 Salvo has helped to create salvage zones within many fairs and shows, such as the Ideal Home Show, Period Home Show, Listed Property Show, green fairs and conservation events in the England, and even at a historic building show in Washington DC.

Listed Property Show
Now in its 10th year, the Listed Property Show was created to provide information and advice to the owners of over 500,000 listed buildings in the UK and to introduce them to companies that provide suitable products and services for the restoration, renovation and maintenance of these period properties. Salvo Zone exhibitors will mix general promotion with offering a selection of stock for sale on the day.

IACF Newark, Newbury and Ardingly
IACF is Europe's largest organiser of antiques fairs, runs events which are favourites with dealers and international buyers seeking antiques and collectables.
In 2015, in a joint venture with architectural salvage fairs organiser, Salvo Llp, Salvo Zones appeared at Ardingly Fair in July and Newark in August.
Thornton Kay of Salvo said, "Following discussions last year we decided to take the opportunity offered by IACF to create a new focus for salvage-related dealers and buyers. This fits with Salvo's aims of promoting architectural salvage and also provides an added attraction to places like Ardingly, and is in line with the UK government’s reuse strategy. "

Will Thomas of IACF said, "We look forward to working with the largest and most reputable Architectural Salvage organiser to increase an already hugely diverse range of antiques available at Newark and Ardingly."

The cost is £216 inc vat for a 6m x 6m pitch which will allow set up a day early, parking behind the pitch, VIP buyers passes, forklift and porter assistance (both with prior arrangement).
