A Rare and Iconic Baird Advertising Clock circa 1880

This is a beautiful example of the iconic advertising clock produced by the Baird Clock Co. It displays an advertisement for "Vanner & Prest's Molliscorium" , a compound used to soften leather.This clock dates at around 1870-80 and the Baird Clock Co. were the first company to use clocks as an advertising media. They used, in this clock, a Seth Thomas 8 day timepiece movement.

This clock is in absolutely clean original condition. The clock runs very well and keeps reasonable time.The clock is 31" high and the width is 18"

Here we have a reclaimed Bar, it was fitted in a boutique hotel in Bath which has been returned to a private residence, We have removed it to our yard and been instructed to sell it. The base units have a zinc counter top with a small sink at one end and a hotplate at the other the wall units are as in the picture. FOR SALE : LIGHTWEIGHT STEEL SHELVING SYSTEM
Multi Bay versatile storage system available in an excellent condition. Each bay is 2150mm high and has 5 shelves, there are two shelf widths available the first is 1000mm and the second is 1250mm both shelves are 300mm deep. The position of each shelf is easily adjustable without the need of any tools.

A single bay is priced at £30, multi bays are priced at £25 per bay. We have sufficient shelving to create approximately 40 bays. As you will see all of the shelving is flat packed and stored onto pallets for ease of bulk delivery.

FOR SALE : SHOP FITTING
Early 20th Century Oak bookcase 12 ft 6 inches long and just over 9ft high.
This was constructed in 1905 as a double sided bookcase and used in a reference library until quite recently.We rescued several bookcases some of which are longer. We used the resurrection men to dismantle and remove them and they left the building via a 2ft wide window,so even though they are large pieces they are versatile enough to be reused and assembled through seemimgly impossible door openings. As you can see in the image we have reassembled one in the upstairs of my shop.They now have a variety of uses we are using ours to house vintage fabric.

FOR SALE : VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN CHURCH ALTAR RAILS AND GATES 390CM LONG OVERALL
The date is uncertain. The rails came from a church built in 1912 (and refitted in the 1970s since when they have been in storage), but it is believed some of the fittings used for the altar etc were recycled from an earlier chapel, so the rails may predate the 1912 church.

Thought to be pitch pine that has been stained mahogany.
