 FOR SALE : ORIGINAL SET OF STONE STRINGS FROM STEPS
These are the stone strings and pair of lamps that would of graced a set of steps, the actual steps are missing but you could make these from more stone or in bricks.
They came from the Grand Lodge In Longdon Staffordshire.
The measurements both sides are the same.
They start at the foot of the steps with piece of stone 17"x17" x 20" tall, this would look very nice with a lovely urn or planter, then going up the steps all pieces are 34" long, the first two are 17" tall, then two at 25" tall, then the largest is 28" tall, the pair of lamps are 33" tall on pieces of stone that are 17" square and 33" tall.
There are two pieces of damaged stone as shown in the last two pictures. The sections are all in 1 piece of stone, ie the capping to the sections is all hand cut from one piece of stone. These are a very rare find and would grace the best of homes. We can arrange the transport- this will vary on where you live. It is now all sitting on pallets ready to go.

This is a totally Original Victorian Coalbrookdale Hall Stand C1880, it has a Lozenge mark and manufacturers code number on it, as well as Coalbrookdale stamped in raised font on the underside of the drip tray.
It has seven hooks and the two loops for an umbrella/stick stand.
It measures 80" tall x 30" wide x 13.5" deep
We have fully stripped it back to the base metal, primered it and then coated it with a black eggshell finish.

These are great handles/Door Knobs in Solid Brass. They have recently been reclaimed from a Halls of Residence in Nottinghamshire and Ooze Quality and Class!
The are Solid Brass mortice door knobs but they can also be fitted with a rimlock if you loose one backplate. They will not dent as they are not hollow
each pair consists of:-
2 Bun shaped solid Brass Knobs,
2 square shaped Solid Brass Backplates
on a threaded, adjustable spindle (to fit any size of door) and
8 Original Brass Fixing Screws
The original grub screws are all present
They have a lovely patina to the handles but these can be polished up on request. I have polished up one pair for this listing.
We have, in excess of 80 pairs of these handles and so if you need any more, just let us know.
