FOR SALE : CARVED BALTIC PINE COFFER/CHEST
Tribal, pegged together coffer/chest made from huge pieces of wood Baltic pine?all hand made,carved along the front and top front edge/legs.
Size approx 6feetlong X approx 2feet wide and approx 4feet high.
This is a very splendid piece and I can send an image if required.
I do not know its origin or age although it seems that it would have been for a nomadic tribe as it comes apart for transporting(flat pack!) and raised from the ground for practicle reasons, very impressive and significant carvings.
