An early 19th Century cast iron kitchen downhearth grate. Could be used as a free-standing firebasket in it's own right.

Overall size 38.5"/98cm wide x 32"/81cm tall x 14"/36cm deep

Burning area 29"/74cm wide

Good original and usable condition. The backplate is a later addition.
