This 18th century French stone fireplace was one of eleven fireplaces purchased from Wharton Antiques for a large, privately-owned property recently built in the Cotswolds.



The client's vision and imagination encouraged the use of both English and continental antique stone fireplaces under the same roof with spectacular results. The aim was simple - strong design and authenticity.



Pictured here is the kitchen fireplace complete with a raised stone hearth that doubles as relaxed seating in front of the fire.
