patented on the 26th feb 1840 this is a double skin Milners patent double chamber fire box, it has a good lock with it's original key and brass escutcheon. this is quite heavy and would make good secure storage for less valuable things. Inside the original paper label with all the need to know stuff about putting things in boxes and a list of English Scottish and Irish patent dates, one hundred quid with Her Majesty's VAT inclusive in the price.
