i am selling a stone fireplace and surround. it's an original stone minster. it is currently in my front room. my house is a 1930s one but i am not sure if the fireplace pre-dates the house or not. i would require whoever buys the fireplace to be responsible for removing it. if you are interested i can send photos of it by email to you.

I'm interested in your fireplace advertised on Salvo. If it is still for sale, where abouts in the UK are you? Happy to remove as requested, but I'm wondering is it load bearing? Have you an idea how far the stone goes into the wall?
