 FOR SALE : GRANITE TROUGH / PLANTER
This is a granite trough that is approx. 6ft by 2 ft and 2ft high. It makes a beautiful container for displaying plants or can be used in dramatic and bold water features. As it is solid granite it will last for ever. It has lots of character and the edges have been worn smooth by cattle drinking out of the trough. The walls and floor are very thick (about 4 inches) so therefore this item is very heavy ( approx 450kg).There is a drain hole in the base of the trough - ideal for drainage or could be blocked if suited depending on use. Good condition matching set of six cast iron wall-mounted radiators,and a towel rail, thought to be Edwardian or 1920s.Decorative mouldings on the edges and ovolo mouldings to the panels. Recently removed from a large house, so no rust.

I freely admit that the right-hand edge is wider than the left, but the quality of material and the joinery make it strong enough to withstand further trimming to make it symetrical.
Others from the same set have been very successfully stripped using our non-caustic system giving a clean golden oak colour (see example).This door could be stripped to the same standard for another 95 pounds.

 FOR SALE : COTTAGE DOORS WITH ORIGINAL HARDWARE.
Five small tongue and groove doors, all from one early Victorian property, with their original hardware intact. They are mostly 10" wide boards with a bead at one edge, and another imitation bead moulded down the centre of each plank. They have been used between rooms, but are light enough for cupboards.
The Suffolk latches have an elongated trefoil shape at each end and tapered handles. The T-hinges have a circular end (see pics).
