FOR SALE : GEORGE III CADDY TOP CHEST OF DRAWERS

A fine example and quality piece of Mahogany furniture this is a beautiful George III Caddy Top chest of drawers with the traditional 2 over 3 design. It stands on splayed bracket feet and is fitted with oval brass handles. 6 of which are totally original and 2 lower handles are replacements. Remarkably this George III chest of drawers still comes complete with its original key and in lovely condition for a piece of this age which is circa 1810. There is a small amount of wear and tear conducive with age. This is a new item to the market as it has been in the same family for over 50 years. It is one of many pieces that we have recently acquired from a lovely local property.
