FOR SALE : GEORGE III CORNER CUPBOARD IN OAK

A useful piece of period oak country furniture. This George III corner cupboard has recently been removed from a local house clearance, and is complete with an attractive panelled door and dental mould cornice. Sadly, there is a small piece of cornice missing from one side as photographs show. The door, which still retains its original key, opens to reveal the original internal shaped shelves. Sadly, these shelves have been painted, but this is still an extremely useful piece of furniture. Other alterations that we have noticed are the backboards have been replaced. This is common as these pieces were generally made using softer timber. When hung against a wall, this George III corner cupboard would make an attractive piece for any period property.
