FOR SALE : MAGNIFICIENT ANTIQUE STONE TROUGH

Reclaimed from a large local estate here in Staffordshire
This would of been carved entirely by hand
The trough measures 90" (2.3m) long x 39" (1m) wide x 39" (1m) tall
The trough has an excellent patina with lovely mosses and lichens
This trough is in excellent condition. Circa 1800
The trough weighs just under 2 tons
The trough is made from a buff coloured sandstone
The side walls are 4" (100mm) thick
The trough was sat a few inches into the ground, so to keep it level above ground we have sat it on a couple of pieces of wood
