Stunning example of an antique rocking horse, stand completely original and is superbly made with no movement, no woodworm or rot.The sizes of this wonderful horse are 37 1/2" high to the top of her head, length of stand 44"

Rosie has been sympathetically conserved to her former glory, retaining her original paintwork which is a distressed dapple grey, original glass eyes, original saddle, original saddle flaps, original decorative nails

Real Horsehair mane, tail and forelock.

All in good sound condition, we would suggest that this is for a discerning collector as the tack is fragile in places.The rocking horse maker, F H Ayres, enjoyed a long history being established in 1810 and running until 1940. Within this period they where known as the 'Rolls Royce' of rocking horse makers and also made sporting goods.
