FOR SALE : LATE VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN PINE BAY CASEMENT WINDOW
A large semicircular bay window with 5 large and 5 small opening casements. The timber frame is of pine and in good general condition with no rot or worm and has been kept in dry storage , however it does need a good strip down, prime and paint. The casements are all in likewise condition , all curved anmd all are leaded glazed with the smaller top opening being coloured. Some need repair work to missing or damaged glass sections but this is in a minority. Dimensions are as follows , bay itself is 2.1m diameter , standing 1.7m tall , the larger casement opening are 93cm tall by 50cm approximate on the inside of the curve , likewise the smaller opening are 50cm tall by 50cm wide. The top is framed and requires leading once in situe and we even have the original wooden guttering sections that would also be leaded. An unusual piece with all the major component parts available , would suit a barn conversion or 'new build' old style property making an excellent focal point.
