 FOR SALE : ADAMSEZ CLOSE COUPLED TOILET & PEDESTAL BASIN
Due to a recent bathroom refurbishment I have for sale a matching quality Adamsez close coupled toilet and pedestal basin, in very good condition.
This suite was probably made in the 1970’s by Anderson Ceramics, who took over the old Adamsez patents, and who specialised in manufacturing quality fireclay products aimed at the luxury market.
All the units (basin, pedestal, pan & cistern cover) have a matching coloured (light green / dark pink) embossed pattern on them. The toilet has a solid wooden seat (probably mahogany) with brass fittings. The suite was in daily use in the main bathroom until its recent removal (along with an enclosed cast iron roll top bath) due to a refurbishment project. Unfortunately they did not match the new high tech expensive steam shower, with lots of chrome; hence the Adamsez had to go.
The suite is in very good condition, with no damage to any of the units, except for a small barely noticeable chip at the base of the pedestal. This was actually covered up by floor tiles when installed and I only noticed it when the suite was removed. The chip is visible in the photo.
