WANTED : C1900'S SHOP AWNING, FIXTURES & FITTINGS
i have a victorian shop and want to renovate back the original type awning. i am looking for a complete awning (3 if possible), but am not concerned if the material section is missing or needs replacing. as far as i can see from other similar awnings on shops it is a metal square bar construction, with a winding mechanism. it traditianally has a wooden board that forms the fascia of the canopy, and connects to the metal armatures at either end. these armatures are raised and lowered by the aforementioned wnding mechanisms. i have one large window (around 3m) and two smaller window (around 1.4m). if possible i would like to kit out each window, but know this might be a tall order.
