 WANTED : HANDMADE 2 7/8" FACING BRICKS
I need 5000 2 7/8" or 73mm high handmade facing brick, 600 plinth stretchers, and 600 cant bricks for my next project. I have enclosed a photograph to show the colour required which can best be described as buff/pale orange/pale pink multi, but predomintanly buff.
The bricks are solid handmade and date from the 1850's to 70's from the Alderminster brickyard near Stratford upon Avon.
I am not looking for recycled demolition rubble or seconds which would have been used in factories or industrial buildings, but decent square edged and regular bricks with light creasing to their faces, which would have been removed and cleaned by hand. The special are important!
