I believe it dates from the 1930s but it has a 1950s look. It is enamelled cast iron with an oven and two hot plates which are concealed under a hinged top when not in use. It is in excellent order; please let me know if it might be of interest. Please note that our email is now com suffixed. You can also contact us via our website http://www.lecalipel.comIP : Logged 12 Jun 2006 21:06:10 : small cast rangeI have a small Victorian fire/stove advertised on salvo. You can get to it by clicking on For Sale, then Staffordshire, and its currently on the third page, I have attached ref no. It has a top surface like a range, but I dont know whether you'd actually be able to boil a kettle on it, it's more a fire with an enclosing lid rather than a hot box for cooking on top. You're welcome to come and see (Stoke), or I can send more photos. Victorian cast iron parlour fire/stoveIP : Logged
