 FOR SALE : ANTIQUE GREEN GLAZED ROOF TILES Antique, glazed roof tiles. Manufactured by Colthurst Symons & Co Ltd, Somerset, a firm no longer in existence. I believe they were based in Bridgewater and closed down in 1960. The large ridge tiles and some of the smaller ones have their name stamped on them. They would have been manufactured in the late 1920's. As you can see from the photographs, the tiles take on different hues according to the angle of the sun's rays reflecting upon them.

We are currently extending our house and would like to match the new roof with our existing green glazed tile roof. Our building work is commencing in the next few weeks. Do you still have the tiles? And if so how many do you have left? How much would it be for approx 1000 tiles or what you have left? Thank you Pamela
