White marble statue of a YOUNG WOMAN and DOG, the woman with long flowing hair, left hand on midriff, right hand on dog's head, the dog standing by her right side, signed "JOHN ADAMS ACTON FECIT ROMA 1866", approximately 45ins high, standing on a terracotta PEDESTAL empanelled with Elizabethan-style strapwork, approximately 29ins high by 19ins square base.
