 FOR SALE : ANTIQUE OAK WINE RACKS, BAR, PUB, RESTAURANT USE
Each rack measures 28.5 x 59 inches
The "pupitre" was invented by the Clicquot family in the early 19th century. It was designed to improve the process of removing the sediment from the bottle. Champagne cellars had large numbers of these racks, and the cellarman would turn each bottle, up to 30,000 bottles a day!
The rack will hold normal sized wine bottles and can be wall mounted with the addition of some simple 'L' shaped brackets.
I currently have 10 available, and should be able to acquire more if needed.
