Superb matching pair of Roger Pearson classical marble chimney pieces
signed by the artist.
These individually sculptured works of art each has a mantle 82"x15"
crowning an intricately carved surround which is 74" wide and 55" high.
The inserts measure 42"x38".

FOR SALE : ORIGINAL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MARBLE FIREPLACE/MANTEL SURROUND

Original Antique Victorian Marble Fireplace/Mantel Surround

I currently have for sale an antique Victorian marble fire surround. White with grey/black flex. It came out from my home which is a Victorian mid terrace property and I presume the fire place was put in when built which would have been around 1880. The fire surround has been cleaned with soapy water but still has some marks on it. With some more TLC this marble fire surround will look lovely.

Damage;
One of the inner sides has broken (as you will see from the photos), I'm sure once in place with some specialist help this can look as new. There are some minor chips overall, nothing major, as I'm sure you can appreciate due to its age.

The dimensions are as follows (all measurements are in cm's).
Overall dimensions;
Width - 143.5
Height - 135
Depth - 26.5 (the mantel top)
Internal dimensions (for where the fire insert/place would sit);
Height - 95
Depth - 94
