RECRAFT : ELM AND OAK 18TH CENTURY STYLE CANOPY DRESSER

Handmade from reclaimed elm and oak this type of dresser with a deep canopy top were popular during the first half of the 18th century.The brass handles have been cast in the traditional way using the lost wax method. This lovely small dresser has been oiled and waxed a time consuming process but far superior to modern fast lacquer finishes. Dressers tables etc can all be made in any size check out my website for more pictures.
